Friday, October 4, the Sheridan Hawks, our community’s new Junior A Hockey Team, hosted the 1st Annual Pink the Rink Night at the Whitney Rink in the M&M’s Center. Not only are the team members competitive on the ice, the team cares about the community it represents. Through a Pink Jersey auction, the team raised $4,275 which will support Sheridan Memorial Hospital Foundation’s cancer screening and early detection efforts.
